In a saucepan set over high heat, combine 1 cup 7-Grain Blend with 2 cups water and a pinch of salt. Bring to a boil, then lower heat to a simmer and cover with a lid. Simmer until all liquid has been absorbed and the grains are tender. Let stand 5 minutes before removing lid. Fluff with a fork and serve.
- Substitute for rice in pilaf for a more interesting flavor and texture.
- Add to fresh vegetables and toss with dressing for a salad
- Add to soups
- Bake in stuffing and casseroles
- Serve hot with milk for breakfast
