Organic Thick Rolled Oats are manufactured form oats which have been cleaned, dehulled, kilned (lightly roasted), steamed and flaked. Oats have B vitamins, protein, phosphorus and iron, and retain the cholesterol lowering bran. Nutrition Facts Serving Size: 1/3 cup cooked Nutrient Amount Calories 102 Fat 2 g Carbohydrate 17.5 g Dietary Fiber 3 g Sodium 0 mg Protein 3.5 g Cooking Instructions: Bring 3 cups water to a boil. Add 1 cup grain, cover and simmer over low heat. Cook for 30 minutes. If pressure cooking cook for only 10 minutes. Kilned oat products are shelf stable for up to a year when stored in a cool dry place. Grown in Oregon, Washington or British Columbia.
